Wichtig !
Flash_OrganUhl_4.25 für UHL X3 09.08.2017
-Das Update kann nur mit einem PC (nicht mit Mac) durchgeführt
werden.
-Bereits das Downloaden der RAR-Datei „Flash_OrganUhl_4.25“
muss mit einem PC erfolgen.
-Nach dem Download der "Flash_OrganUhl_4.25" RAR-Datei
muss diese unbedingt mit "WinRAR" entpackt (extrahiert)
werden!!!!
Gegebenenfalls vorher "WinRAR" herunterladen und
installieren. Die heruntergeladene RAR-Datei
"Flash_OrganUhl_4.25" direkt unter C:\ ablegen. Hier dann mit
WinRAR entpacken.
-Bitte Schritt für Schritt nach Bedienungsanleitung vorgehen.
-Die X3 nach Installation (Meldung „Operation successful“)
unbedingt ausschalten und wieder einschalten (die neue
Version wird dann in der X3 geladen).
Changelog:
Der älteste Code innerhalb des FPGA war der für den Generator. Es war Zeit für ein Update.
Neu erstandene Signalanalyzer und Time-Domain-Analyzer in der Entwicklungsabteilung, sowie hochqualitative Originalaufnahmen von Tönen einer Hammond B3 haben die Voraussetzung dafür geschaffen, dass man die Subharmonischen und das harmonische Leakage überarbeiten konnte, da dies in der Vergangenheit nur teilweise korrekt war. Dies gilt auch für
die Phase der Frequenzmodulation und das amplitudenmodulierte Rauschen. Vieles war richtig und manches musste trotzdem von Note zu Note angepasst werden
Ebenso der Klirrfaktor zweiter Ordnung. Dies ist jetzt gut gelungen und durch einen runderen Sound im oberen Bereich hörbar. THD entspricht jetzt einer echten B3.
Das interne Signalprozessing wurde um 2 Bit von 16 auf 18 erhöht. Dies hat Auswirkung auf Headroom, Limiterfunktionen und Tapering.
Falsche LC Filter Numbers im alten Code des FPGA wurden korrigiert. Einzelne Töne können jetzt im Pegel untereinander besser angeglichen werden.
Mit "TG Gears Tune" gibt es jetzt im Menü des HX3-Panels die Möglichkeit die Tonhöhe von 433 bis 447 Hz in 1 Hertz-Schritten zu ändern.

- The update can only be done on a PC (not a MAC).
- Also downloading of the ZIP-Data file “Flash_OrganUhl_4.25”
has to be done on a PC.
- After downloading the ZIP- Data file it necessarily should be
extracted with WinRAR"!!!!!
If necessary, download and
install WinRAR. You have to store the downloaded RAR-File
"Flash_OrganUhl_4.25" to C:\.
Then extract the WinRAR-File.
- Please proceed regarding the instruction manual step by
step.
- After completing the installation process (“Operation
successful”) it is mandatory to shut down the X3 and then
switch on again (the new version will then be installed and
activated).
Changelog:
The HX3 generator itself was one of the oldest codes inside the FPGA. It was time for an update.
New acquired signal analyzer and time domain analyzer for the R&D department, as well as high-resolution recordings of original B3 notes were the essential condition for revising subharmonics and harmonic leakage.
In the past this was only partly correct. The same applies to phase/FM and AM noise of a B3 generator. Much was right, but nevertheless some things had to be done note by note. Also for the k2 distortion.
The correction is done and the result is a "rounder sound" on upper notes. THD on this notes are corresponding to a typical B3 generator now.
Internal signal processing was increased from 16 to 18 bits at no cost. This leads to more audio headroom, audio limiter functions and tapering.
Corrections on wrong LC filter numbers (i.e. their simulation) at some generator notes were realized.
Tuning is now available in "TG Gears Tune" menu on display, ranges from 433 to 447 Hz in 1 Hz steps.
